I want to stiffen up my motor mounts, but I dont want it too stiff. I know the window weld trick, but i personally never rode in a car with filled mounts. I'm used to shitty rattling hondas. I just dont want to make the car anymore shittier/rattling than I need too. It's very unlikely the car will ever see a track or slicks, so i just wanna stiffen it up alittle. Any input will be cool.

Buy a Buick.

+1 on GOOD stock mounts. Make sure you have the front torque mounts too if it's an eg/ek.

Get an extra set of mounts, fill 'em. Then install one at a time. You can play around with them untill you get it just right. And it's reversible with an extra set...

Or just fill the mount that acts as the biggest lever arm to engine when it is trying to rotate about the crank axis first.

I have always had filled mounts and never thought they vibrated.

All five of my mounts are filled and at low revs. w/o load there is some vibration resignating
(sp) through the chassis.
But it is tolerable. ;D

All my cars rattle no matter what mounts. Guess the one bolt holding the dash style has its down falls.
