You're a fucking welfare case, so you mean a 20 year old 750iL, right.
-
lol its an 07 550i
-
Expect the same level of problems as a 20 year old BMW.

I've heard they can be quite picky but mostly the inline 6(leaks oil everywhere and underpowered to haul that mastodon car), mine has 70k miles so im gonna do a fluid overhaul and hope it will treat me nicely, now i just have to bump up those 360 ponies

Sell it. My wife's 550 is fucking yard ornament. Damn thing is always breaking. Least reliable BMW I've ever owned. My m5 doesn't bitch even 1/10th the amount her 550 does. Bastard is always puking oil or coolant.
-
yeah my 335i is a pos constantly trashing high pressure fuel pumps.. shoulda bought the z06 instead :'(
-
Sell it to an arab before it breaks. O0 :mexi: :noel: O0 :Jew:

A lot of my coworkers have bought used BMWs. One literally has four X5s -- two to alternate between when one breaks and two for parts. He just replaced the water pump on one of them, and I don't know if it was OEM but it had plastic impellers. Another had a 750 of some sort and now leases a little Mitsubishi thing. Another had an X5 and got rid of it for his more-reliable Dodge SUV. Etc.
I bought a used Lexus. Just looks like a big Camry, but it's driven me to and from wherever I needed to go. Overheated once when the coolant got low. I'm assuming it's got a slow leak somewhere, maybe in "the valley," but I'd rather add a little coolant every 2-4 weeks than deal with it in the "feels like 130+" temperatures.

Reminds me Adam (mandrel-bent) had a M5 (M55) 5.5 v10 wonder if he still has it?

A lot All of those German cars have plastic impellers on the water pumps literally everywhere they can get away with putting fiber reinforced plastic that will last the duration of the warranty period and not 10k miles longer.

Yeah, I bought a Fiat X1/9 once, so I know how that feels.
