Title: Changed oil pressure gauge line and now fans run all the time??
Post by: MantisX on March 26, 2009, 03:22:02 PM
WTF is wrong with my car? Yesterday I got rid of the nylon bullshit that comes with gauges and redid it with copper line. So I gets home and cut off the car and the fans are still running. Im thinking theyll cut off in 15 minutes or so but I come back an hour later and they are still fucking running.

I had to unplug the battery to avoid killing it. Plugged it back up this morning and the fans kicked right back on. Any ideas what have gone wrong? Ive pulled fuses related to A/C(Which I dont have) and ive checked for shorts.

The car is a 93 integra GS, engine is a B18B all obd1.

Next to your oil press switch on the back of your block is the fan temp sawitch. I think if you unplug it, it runs all the time, Check to see if they got unpluged. Its the one right next to the oil pressure sen.,(the one with 2 wires)
