hi. im installing an aem tru boost..just ibhace a doubt with 3 port. car is using external wg and idk if i leave it opene or i hace to tap/close it. ive seen there are some soneloids come with a filter..any help will be appreciatr a lot. thanks!

The 3rd port is always a vent for the pressure inside the wastegate. If you seal it, the wastegate will try to hit infinite boost. It doesn't need a filter, but if gunk gets inside the solenoid then it won't work properly. They are usually tapped for 1/8 NPT, which will be similar enough to 1/8" BSPT used in Europe so finding a sintered-metal filter won't be too hard. Depending on how you have it hooked up, the vent will be in the center or the right. The config on the left is the best to use for external wastegates.
