Don't you make mani's?

You want the one with the wastegate on the runner closer to the ps pump?

neither of those are ac compatible. i already have one of those sitting at my shop. you think im retarded?

the flange is in the center of the manifold and not at an angle like it needs to be to clear AC.

I've seen several of those in Civics that still had a/c. You just need to make a 2.5" pie cut DP, which I have personally built myself. They WILL work, it's just not as easy as some people like.

2.5 is shit 3" pie cut soooooon  :noel:

this manifold sucks for AC get this one i plan on it, it looks ugly as FUCK but it sets the turbo off to the side a bit and rotates it a bit to help cram a DP in there

since you guys arent fabricators and dont deal with b series flanges every day i dont expect you guys to be able to tell that this manifold and the one speedjunky linked above are both for b series.

speedjunky is that one the you posted with the DP the same as the 2 towdogg linked? i dont remeber there being that much room with the one ive got but thats enough for me to do a 2.5"-3" dp.

i know the last link says its for a d but its not. they either used the wrong pic or are just lying. id hate to order that and get exactly what you already have now as that seems to be the only d series cast mani besides that other dual bolt pattern aborting .

yeah ill have to take your word for it man, they have lied before :P

the other one does look like a total fucking abortion but it would clock the turbo so the bend doesnt need to be as tight as it would now

ill tell you the secret. on b series the bottom left bolt hole sits up higher then the rest of the bottom bolt holes. on D series the bolt hole in between runners 2 and 3 sits up higher then the rest also. now you can tell when they are using the wrong picutres. plus you can usually tell by the port size.

I think that's the only other version the chinks are pushing out, there is always the greddy style with a t3 flange but you have to run internal gate for that to work

If he can afford a cast manifold, I'm sure he can afford for you to make him a log

Or order one of Wier's kits and put the flange where you want it.  ;D

the price of an ebay cast mani is about 1/4 of what i charge for a log.

That's still not a lot of money. If he can't afford that he shouldn't be messing with it, or he needs to learn to fluxcore weld

haha, yeah i laughed at that "just buy a log" comment also. Really cast manifolds aren't bad if you can find one that sits things right. I would be running one if i didn't know how to weld.

not only that but technically speaking cast manifolds are better then logs in terms of flow because they are designed with runners so there is no exhaust reversion going on.

For a sub-400whp a/c p/s civic, a custom log is the way to go. Packaging it all with a nice flowing downpipe would be a lot easier.

Dr.D made mid 400hp with a log.
