clipped the brass bleeder thingy, drilled to .220" then 4 small .120" holes at the bottom of the T-stat.

too many holes, i did that shit once and my car never got above 140

That would be fine for the time being, that way the crack won't open up and push out coolant

Go get a normal 90* bend and start cutting. I fit pipes in tight spots like that all the time. You will need to cut say a same pie section from the bend then cut another these "pie" cut section can form many different angle and fit in tight spots.

To make it easier to cut just tack weld 2 90* bends together in oposite directions. I use this technique alot to fit pipes.

It is. I'm using a hh140 w/.030 308l n trimix(90%He7.5%Ar2.5%CO2) n I've also got a spool of .030 309l for flange joints.

The hobart has enough ass to melt the pipes together, but going to the flanges is another story. Thankfully I have access to decent 220 miller.

I should be getting my short radius bend in the days to come... and the weather is supposed to be nice so progress is in evitable...

make sure you oval those runners out before you weld it to the head flange otherwise youll be motherfucking it when you try to put bolts in and they are getting caught on the welds.

... The shop that has the welder I need to do the flanges also has a massive vice. I haven't forgot about that part... I cleaned all the burrs out of the pipes n got the merge welded up today. It'll probably be complete over the next few days.
