i thought you got that eg coupe that was caged?  did i miss a big update some where ? fuck me idk whats going on lol

Ideally what i wanted to do was stay away from EKs because of that driver side mount. Because it sucks huge balls!! So i was looking for a Teg or EG civic (2 door and possible a bubble)

 
After seeing the coupe in person .I didn't too like the layout of the cage. (it would pass, but... ) It still is an option.!

Another Option is a Bubble in Li , Its a shell . The kid wants $600.. It's bone stock with a blown SOHC.

Another option is a 98 GSR shell that i could get for labor of doing a swap for the owner.

I'm not too set yet.. But next week i'm going to take a drive down to Ken's Kustom to get a 10 point cromoly cage and some extra pieces for the chute bracket.

 But i'm running out of time.... I need a car caged by Feb. (and i have till next week to figure out what chassis i need the cage for b4 i head out to Ken's.

i also picked this up used on the "cheap".
Inline Pro intake manifold,Precision 1600cc injectors (injector matched and flow tested), Inline Pro high-volume fuel rail with -6 and -10AN ends.

Still have the ek?

 I still have the shell. (i have 4 buyers, Asking $2000 firm if anyone intrested ;). Full shell with suspension, and a lot of goodies).

But i had to wait 2 weeks for NJ to send me a copy of the title that i lost during a move 3 years ago.

So it should be here this week, and the EK is gone!!

Everything else is gone.. down to the nutz n bolts... :yes:

 I was a lil suprised. It was all sold in about a week time.

Sell those 1600's.  I really doubt they are flow matched well enough across the entire operating band to keep them from running like ragged ass.

Sell those 1600's.  I really doubt they are flow matched well enough across the entire operating band to keep them from running like ragged ass.

 They are Matt Keller's old injectors on his B-seriese.. (they were used for 8-10 passes then the car sat for about a year. Then the car was parted out. I was told they were matched with 4 other sets to get 4 veryy similiar flowing injectors, they were also tested on 1-15-10).. I will have them tested again b4 i use them.  These injectors came as part of the combo. So i consider them freebies. If they work then  :)

If that dosent pan out . i'll have to look into another option (the IDs won't support Q16  :()

Why don't Bosch injectors work with Q16?  That doesn't make sense.

 From what i have heard ID has been trying to work around it. In the mean time the 1600's will do. I will be testing the car for the beginning of the season on a lott less power.

If you look, the flange is straight, and the gasket is twisted, I thought the same thing when I looked at it too.

why do they suggest against using them with oxygenated fuels ?

The valve/seal swells restricting flow.
