sohc cable gears in a hydro casing?

just wondering if you can do this? can get a dohc zc cable tranny for cheap but only have 93 and up civics just wondering if i can swap gears from the zc to a hydro case (Igot an extra one layin around). I have never done tranny work obviously

you can swap ZC 3-4 and crx .771 for 5th.

4th gear will need machined to clear the 3-4 hydro hub.

What about using hydro forks in a cable tranny? Any possibility to this, so I could get some steal forks?

Because I hate pulling the tranny apart every year to replace the aluminum ones. :(

Yea, I guess that would help. But its been years, and I still havent accomplished that much. Dont think itll get much better...

So I guess my answer is no? I would just need to do a hydro conversion?
