so i gotta get all 4 of my fucking wisdom teeth out in 7 hours... and my 21st was last weekend but i had an abscess tooth (getting a root canal in 3 days) so i couldnt drink since then due to mass medication
this is fucking retarded

what i want to know is, real world grimey hmt experience, how soon after the removal can you go back to life? I have a lot of plans but I was told 4 teeth at once = out of it at least all weekend... and im a bitch so im worried about the pain -_-

Not to bad, I would just keep a level buzz all day. I just would pace myself. Take a pill, drink a beer. 1 hour later drink another beer, 1 hour later drink another beer, 1 hour later drink another beer and take a pill and so on.........lol

It was over the 4th of july weekend so it was alot of fun

I couldnt afford the 475$ for IV anesthetic so Im getting local which is why I worry... he was telling me I will be able to smell and hear him cutting open my jaw bone lol... one of my teeth grew out of the jaw and crushed back into the side of it -_-

Depending what pills I get I'll be beering on them over the weekend but I have work to do starting monday -_-

I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled and 1 normal tooth that had cracked apart because the wisdom had grown into it, and the iv they gave me felt like heavin on earth until i passed out and woke up on the other side of the dimension..i don't know wtf they gave me but it was good. anyway, it took about a week or two until i could eart hard food..i tried eating a sub the next day and i got food stuck inside the holes where the teeth were and i had to pick it out with a pick..which hurt alot considering the holes were closed with stitches. And they gave me enough hydrocodone to last me 2 weeks so that was pretty cool.

Also, if you DO get dry socket, the dentist ahouls have this colve shit to jam in there, it's a life saver! Well, secondary to the Vicodin

vicodin makes me sick if i take >10mg and <10mg it doesnt help so i started drinking from a heniey mini keg instead to keep my mouth iced i hate teeth

Id rather do the wisdom tooth twice over rather than another root canal. Root canals = teh suck.

Although, I had mine in fucking Iraq by a seemingly half cocked Lt. Col. using less than modern dental instruments.

I dont know what the fuck was going on, but I remember tiny little spikes in my tooth, and what seemed like fucking flint or something else sparking in my mouth, bad fucking ju-ju.

It sure as fuck was for me. But again, it may have had a lot to do with the circumstances.

I know at the very least, it takes a lot longer. Wisdom teeth you are in and out, mine (only 2) were out in 20mins., my root canal took 5 hours.

I had little bits of bone fragments sitting in my gums. They irritated the shit out of me, but after like a week or so as the gums started to heal they worked their way out and I could yank em outta there.

I hope your root canal goes well, but just expect it to suck ass is all I am saying. I could deal with the pain, its the sitting there with my mouth being manipulated every which way for 5 hours that was hell.

Id really like to fucking know what the sparks and smoke was all about. If that shit happens to you, you gotta find out what kind of midevil shit they are doing.

i had the bone frags too but, im being totally honest not macho, my wisdom teeth extraction did not hurt at ALL. i took 2 tylenol immediately after but after that i never had any other pain meds, it never took anything. i guess it didnt interfere with any nerves or something
