didnt with my t28, no smoke
didnt with my t25 smoked on decel, think it was my shitty return line b4 i changed it tho.
There seems to be a restrictor built into these things in the oil feed hole, correct if wrong??

Im pretty sure all the mitsu turbo's have a restrictor built into the oil feed

They have some minor restrictors built into the bearing, same as journal bearing Garretts.  The stock oil feed line has an 1/8" restrictor built into it.  Balance shaft delete (raises the oil pressure through the roof, at or over 100 psi in the higher rpms) and an unrestricted -4 AN feed line is known to cause oil smoking problem in a very small handful of cars. 

I say run the thing as is, but if it smokes install a restrictor in there before you put ANY miles on it and destroy the turbo with coking, which in turn can damage your engine too.

thanks guys, starting off with no restrictor, and a -3 feed. unsure of what fitting im using to go from -3 to the CHRA.

I had to use one with my 14b or it would smoke. Was a tired old turbo tho.
