Post by: G2 Racer on March 14, 2009, 05:50:33 PM
Someone wants to trade me a Walbro 255lph pump kit for some parts I'm selling.

The part number come up for 92-01 Integras and 92-00 Civics. Can I use this pump in my car or no?

I've heard that the obd0 pumps won't work with obd1/2 vehicles and vice versa.

look up the part numbers with walbro
GS-341 and GS-342 i believe are different, but 98% identical.
Doesn't matter though, i used to run a GS-341 in my del sol (required GS-342), it worked great. The only differnce between them is the fuel hose is a little bit off, but not enough to affect anything.

Its the whole tank plug thing that holds the pump/tubes/wires that won't swap. The older cars - I'll just say cable trans cars - usually have a more vertical pump orientation, so the newer filter bag can't be used (kit or stock baggie).

The only difference between the pumps is the location of the inlet & outlet. The outlet ends up being off by 1/2", but the rubber patch hose they use can deal with that offset. The plugs might be different tho, my EF kit came with a plug pigtail - I never got around to installing it.
