I have had 1.6.3 working correctly before on regular and gold roms. For some reason i can not get the logger working again.
I have had this working before. worked just fine on regular and gold maps.

I have followed this and it does not work for me.

I have
crome pro 1.6.3
Hulog
datalog com port 1, 38400 etc.

It times out every time. If if open ectune datalogging works fine so this rules out hulog, cable, and com port. When using regular roms i use QD2 and if i use Gold rom i use QD3.

you wouldnt happen to have a copy of 1.5.5 to download somewhere would ya. I tried to revert the update but that was no go.

EDIT: never mind i found a copy. shall see if it works!

Also, I found a 1.5.5 beta on crome's site but when i installed didnt seem to go into any actual directory file messed up so i deleted it. i tried the 1.6 release and it says "outdated please update" then of coarse closes immediately.

I have a copy of 1.5.3 working but i dont think supports data logging protocol for gold maps.

With 1.5.3 get the 1.5.5 to load as an update and see if that works. It should that is how did mine.

As far as 1.6 and newer, see if it will backwards date to an older ver. (forgot what exact way of saying this.)

BTW have any of you nogs checked PGMFI.org and look at old threads and see if there is still an open link to an older ver.

Last time I heard Blundar has been working with the updates, e-mail (@ his PGMFI addy) him some questions or call him at Moates.

Just download Crome 1.6 and then install it. When it closes down go in and set your computers date to last year. Works perfect then.

I have tried to revert the update but did not work. the 1.5.5 beta didnt work from crome and i didnt get the email you sent over. im going to keep playing around with the old links on pgmfi.

As far as reverting my computers date back that interferes with other programs that i have. I will keep playin with the old versions. damn software.

Thank you! i got the 1.5.5 to work using that directory. now i need to go test it. fucking second shift job is killing me right now.

My logger works great with 1.5.3

Did you make sure license string is in the latest program?

Also check and make sure the j1 is not messed up.

I had a j1 that look perfectly good and it would not let me log for the life of me.

Does you engine respond to changes made using an ostrich?

If not look at j1.

Tried several Different cars and Ecu's worked perfectly in my car several times before for testing. Ectune works flawlessly in my daily driver everytime i connect

Frustrated at the moment. will go back out when it cools down get a screen shot and post it back here. I appreciate the help.

Setting look good,

Are you sure your com1 is the hulog?

May need to go in device manager and check and see the drivers for the logger is working, you may have to reinstall.

Yea i have my hulog on com 1 and my ostrich on com 3. hulog shows working correctly under device manager. i have even tried changing ports and still no success. but if i use com 1 or any other it works in ectune every time. same car same ecu etc.

I am stumped.

of coarse Cui doesn't return email. Sent emails to the vendor in which i purchased to see if they could help havent herd back. called them around noon and still never got a call back.

I have had this working for about 2 weeks with no issues when i purchased my pro license. (I am authorized Ectune tuner but had issues with Calvin at one point so bought pro as a back up).

Have tried this in my personal car and a few friends cars with no problems. Since issue i have tested in my car, buddys car (previous worked) 2 other ecus i have liying around, and 1 customer car (first time i seen the issue).

Open ectune logs fine everytime zero issues. Crome works as far as RTP just logging is not working. Freelog never worked for me period on free crome and still doesnt so thats a no go.

Where did ya get you Pro reg. string?

Get a hold that guy who issued it to you.

That string is good for three computers, did you use this the Pro reg. string one any other computer (not yours)?

It may have got jacked right under you.

Yes i bought it from Xeno. i have contacted chris with no answer, Jay has been replying to my emails and said he has had several customers with the issue. its on going he said and will let me know.

No i havent put my reg on any other computer. If it got jacked somehow then im fucked i guess.

there was a new update and it still hasnt fixed the logger problem. still verified with ectune and hulog is working no problems.

If you paid with a credit card (directly or via paypal), initiate a charge-back. That WILL get their attention.

I have Crome dealer and have no issues with datalogging. Go to device manager and change your latency to 2 on the correct port.

I set my latency to 1 on all hardware.

Xeno sent me a new license to try. will find time and see
