Title: Any Cast b-series Pistons with floating wrist pins?
Post by: 88dx on February 02, 2010, 04:48:02 AM
Is there any cast b-series Pistons with floating wrist pins? I have a set of forged pistons i got from dustin in my motor now but they are pretty much fucked and IDK why i put them in. All I want is a cast LS piston that i can use my eagle rods with. I sent RS machine a e-mail to see if they made any but all I see is ITR/CTR that have floating wrist pins  >:(

So anyone know of any?

Uh, why not just go with a set of stock LS rods if you are wanting stock style cast LS pistons?

You could always try to get a machine shop to machine lock grooves into a set of stockers.

I still don't really understand why you insist on using the Eagles with stock cast pistons when LS rods are pretty much free.

Eh, whatever floats your boat.

Cant' you just take it to the local speed shop and have them hone & cut them for locks? It's not exactly an exotic procedure.

I talked to an old buddy of mine and he still has his fixture for doing this. See what kind of prices you get local Ill see if its worth your time to send them my way.
