sr20de water pump
« on: April 30, 2009, 03:43:38 PM »

ok i have a chance at getting a 92 or 93 nissan sentra se-r. it has the sr20de engine and i dont have any experience with it. the car needs a water pump but im getting the car for 500 and have the hook up at the local nissan dealership. the thing i wanted to know is is the water pump on the timing chain like hondas have them timing belt or do i not have to fuck with all that to change it

Its by it self, not like a honda. Should be able to change it in under 1hour. $500 is a steel!

thats what i was planning on doing. flip it and start another dirty d build. its about an hour from my house so i have to find a truck and trailer to haul it. maybe possibly fixing it in the dudes yard O0 :somb: he might not be cool with that though. it runs and drives but not for very long with the water pump not working
