Are they always a complete cunt to remove? The only other time I've pulled one of these was when the motor (different car) had been stripped down to a bare block, so there was no intake mani or head on it and I just sorta ripped it off with pliers and broke it. On my accord, it is stuck the fuck on there to the point where I was wondering if I was doing it wrong or not. It does just pull off, right?
I'm gonna try again tomorrow morning. If I don't break it, I kinda want to try to keep the idiot light, even though I'll have an oil pressure gauge on the steering column.

The rubber thing is just a boot. Rip that bitch off, and a large (20mm or so, fuck, I don't know) socket will get the sensor out.

Alright, cool. I thought it was, but I didn't want to just attack it and break something, especially since I'm doing the work on my car at school an hour and a half away from home. Tomorrow morning that thing gets to die.

yes the rubber boot gets cock hard, I break that shit off to and then just rock the acual connector on the inside.
