low 9's is very homo

With that much turbo I would hope it runs a lot quicker then low 9's.

I didn't want to be the first person to mention it.

It should run 6's with that kinda turbo.

got some advice from Andy Benn and Easy E (pink shirt cdn)


used a carbide bit for a bit then it got full of alum so I switched to an angle grinder. I shouldnt have went so crazy with that thing but I guess live/learn. Had to go down to 80 grit to get the gouges out. All this in about 2 hrs. Spent another hour last night on it after these pics. Looks better.

Are you trying to polish it?  Start with a 3M pad on a die grinder, then start sanding it.  Stay away from the carbide bit nigglet.

I am using a mouse sander with 80/120/220 then hand sanding with 400/600/1600

going to try and find some dremell attachments to sand in the tight areas today.

Just so we are clear, I think it is hideous too: polished holset, tow hooks, vacuum manifold, and all the other ricer bits.
