I pulled the bottom end apart this afternoon, everything looked pretty good. I took some pictures for JD but left my camera at the shop, updates in thee morning.

need a new set. Trying to find what pistons these are because I forget and there is a weird number on the bottom.

Says 82 but its an 84mm bore

More carnage pics, I got my friend to hone the cylinders today and this is what we found after we took .0005" of each cylinder:

Well I could bore it .040" over, but I have a couple issues with this:
The .017" valley is large, and it is not worn that deep, it was THRUST that deep, so it has been formed, seriously altering the grain of the sleeve, and likely causing a great deal of stress to the sleeve carrier.
Also this sleeve is getting thin, if I punch these out to 85mm I think the wall thickness is going to be around .100"

People make great power on 85mm turbo B-series, but I don't think they make the power Levi wants.  I've heard of a bunch of 500-600 whp setups, though.

Fuck it jump that fucking thing into a lake.  If Benson wont do anything for you... Get a GE block and start over....  Im still not convinced that that will entirely fix things, but when you uys were looking at the head(s) as possibly being machined wrong, I kindof suspected the block... Wonder if its just a shoddy block/sleeving. It IS the one constant...

I'm wondering if the reason the sleeve pushed out had anything to do with the fact I already bored these sleeves out 1mm oversize
The sleeve thickness at current is .090", if I took .040" out of the sleeve I'd be left with a .070" wall Too thin.

One of the staff being Douchebag or not... GE blocks are unarguably solid as fuck.  If I were to do another....  Id DEFINATELY go with GE again.

As are ERL blocks, and you don't have to put up with peniswhistle Robert sucking Bisi off and claiming that Ryan89crx and Chuck hacked his Photobucket.  It's not like there isn't a glut of talent in the Honda scene, Spikey, so it becomes VERY easy to drum undesirables like the faggot that bought GE out of the business.

I've been using golden eagle sleeves for years with great success.  I also like the AEBS sleeves, i had them in another engine of mine that I sold.  The erl stuff is very nice, and have heard alot of good things about them.

I have the GE hd sleeves in my engine now. I had repeated back to back 55lbs runs on the dyno, no overheating no issues, except for the 235 MT that blew out  If i were to buy again it'd be GE again or the AEBS.


The lies from the GE guys really hurt themselves in my eyes, but the products stand for themselves.

Do any of these guys have a block you can just buy off the shelf, or is it a core exchange, or send your block in deal?

You can buy one without a core... Think its 150-200 extra depending on the block though...
