That was at "speedfactory", the car only put down mid 300's on the dyno day.

Sweet build, alot of it looks similar to mine.   You need to rev that thing out some more, who gives a fuck about tq when you can make power past 10k rpms :)

Gay...

RPM:  Ruins peoples motors... OH wait, its a beeee series... The dont make tq...

Whats thiks all aboot???

You should get a memo out to Suzuki, rpms are going to ruin all of those gsxr's. If you build the engine correctly for the rpms range your going to spin, you dont have to worry about that bullshit, almost always when shit dies from rpms its from a missshift, and thats a totaly different situation. I've had a bunch of b's and a bunch of H's , yes the h's had more tq, but tq,hp, and rpm are all innertwined, take a v8 from an 80's monte ss, over 400tq and barely 200 hp, and the cars are slow as fuck. I'll take my hp and rpm. If your so worried about tq why did you waste all of your time building an h, why not a K or a J series, in equal built form they both make more tq than an H.   With that attitude i'm suprised you don't drive a camaro.

I could waste my time and spoon feed it to you, but Mr. Yaw's got it spot on in his article here, http://www.yawpower.com/tqvshp.html.

manual boost controllers are good for as much as you want them to be...

MBC's are as good for as much as you want them to be (depending on the style of MBC), but the gates may not. I have seen numerous times where the waste gates have been pushed open by drive pressure, at which point the MBC is only good to that point. With that being said you can always use drive pressure on the top port of the waste gate, this should let you run till the compressor stalls out or blows up.

Exactly,  its a function of the wg spring and exhaust backpressure, at that point it doesn't matter the type of boost controller chosen (manual vs electronic). And even then using 2 MBC's, one on each port, would allow you to have some control in getting as much boost as the snail will make.

I have a little creapage thats why I want to try electronic one so it could keep it stady. Its not the problem in MBC its just something in my setup, I think.

Sewell, im suprised...... Your failure to get the jist of my comment makes me sad in the pants, Your added rigamarol just proves to me that maybe I was wrong, and youre an even bigger dipshit than I thought you were initially (Im sure the feeling may be somewhat mutual... Im ok with that)

Sewell, im suprised...... Your failure to get the jist of my comment makes me sad in the pants

I admit i missed any jist that may have been left in that comment,  I guess i'm around way to many honda haters, and get defensive.   I'm in the camp of who gives a fuck what it is if its fast.

I'm struck that anything i would say/do would have any effect on your pants. Thats to much of a buk-like comment. Kinda creepy.

Your added rigamarol just proves to me that maybe I was wrong, and youre an even bigger dipshit than I thought you were initially (Im sure the feeling may be somewhat mutual... Im ok with that)

Thats a good responce, very JDesque, no real way for me to debate that responce, i say your right and agree your first responce is wrong, and i'm a bigger dipshit than you orginally thought. I say your wrong and that your inital thoughts of me are correct, and i'm still a dipshit. The only real option i have is to agree is that the feeling of "your a dipshit" is mutual, i can live with that, but in the end is my car is alot faster than yours.  :P

Im sure someone will point out that you are better educated on some things than I, you should exemplify it more effectively

So i should i take your example of being an exemplifier of being an asshat, and apply that to my car knowledge?

You can have your B series 10k gayness....   Ill keep what Ive got.  Its yummy.

I like my b series, i liked my h, the b is a better platform for what i'm doing, along with most other people,  I do understand why you have such a hatred for the b. The integra/civic/crx is the best platform for the b, and you can't fit into them comfortably, so you drive a roomier accord, so your most practical performance choice is the h,  and because owning a b is illogical with an accord, its easier to hate on them. It all makes perfect sense.   :noel:

Im with spiker on the accord issue, i had an EG coupe, with a turbo D, but i just wasnt comfortable in it. I felt cramped, and hated everything about it, so i sold it and bought my accord. Waaay more comfortable, and torque is a beautiful thing....

if I wanted torque I would get into a muscle car, not a honda product

because then I can make 550whp with 550ft lbs and not brake drivetrain parts every week.

Notably, I have been trying to find a race in town. But all the crotch rocket kids went from smack talking, to making excuses............ who would have known

point taken. good call... muscle cars break shit too, you have to spend the money on those to get them to stay together too..

that HX52 sounds fun, almost makes me want to upgrade from my HX35, but i have yet to see the potental of that. ive been following this build since OHMT and really respect what you have done.
