Crome Pro Idle problems, everything 1000 rpms off....
« on: July 02, 2009, 01:40:51 AM »

Crome Pro, P28 map w/ vtec disabled to run in my D15B7.

Idle set to 750, FTL to 3000.

When I plug it in and start the car up I get a solid CEL, it idles at 1750 and FTL at 4000.

Any ideas? I'll check the chip job tomorrow, but I don't know how that could make everything off by 1000 rpms.

There was no CEL before, car runs 100% w/ J1 cut. I'll check that in a few and get back.

Solid CEL... checked my chip job... I'm a fucking dumbass.

Skipped a pin on the 28 zif socket, runs perfect now.

Welcome to the rest of your life troubleshooting EFI problems.  It's always something stupid, the only difference between you and the n00bs who come running to you for help is that you man up and figure it out.
