drove it off the trailer yesterday for the first time and into a friends shop for him to hook me up with a alignment.

once thats done, its glass install and paint and she is close to being done.

so today was the day i was going to road test the car. got all 4 brakes working beautifully after making up my rear lines and bleeding all the air out of them and getting the slider adjustments figured out on the pedal assembly.

Then i went through all my nuts/bolts/fittings and checked them and made sure they were tight. reinstalled the battery box, through the battery in and attached the charger and let it charge up while i continued on checking.

ok all good to go and ancy to get it on the road and the fucking battery is shot. it wont keep a charge. quite unforunate. i tried another optima i had and from using it so many times on our trailer winch, she didnt have much left in her.

so here i sit typing away in disappointment. ill leave you with the way it sits.

alignment/ paint and body/ glass and she is ready to rock.

car was dyno tuned today by Morris from Midnight Auto and it came in at 208whp and 162 tq. we shut the car down at 7800 RPM. had we known we needed a RSX-S pump, we could have spun it up to 8600 RPM and made more power. oh well, there will be a next time.

we did 10 cars on this dyno and they all seemed to be lower than dynojet values. some of the cars drove faster than the numbers they laid down.

for comparison, im gonna head over to a dynojet and see what sort of numbers we get and compare.

rear springs are way too soft so as soon as l launch it the body is sitting on the rear wheels. the front tires just spin most of the time if i launch it hard.

but other than that, its a riot. lol

upped the spring rate to 150lbs and revalved the shocks. hope that solves it.
