I was quoted that 2-3 years ago. In this economy I highly doubt its actually going to happen.

Nothing against him atleast he is trying but I highly doubt it will ever happen.

Last set in stock? I just sold the motor I built with OCZC rods, that thing took a beating and kept on going. Best $100 I ever spent.

A d16 is all of $100 for a block - less if you find one with some issues that your build will fix. They'll be cheaper, make more power, spool faster, the works. If you're spending any money on a rhmt kit worth a damn, a built d15 (non-d15b) just doesn't make sense.

why do so many people still buy those things for hondas? 30 seconds of google searching on 56k dial-up will tell you that chipping is the only way. i just dont get it.

Because dialing in a few limited, poorly-named settings > "fucking up" via every conceivable option availible. Basicly if they're given less options, they think they have a lesser chance of blowing it up...

I'd rather spend $50 on a decent burner & rock a basic step retard, and have to "eyeball" the afr's. Actually that was my first setup, and was awsome.

As far as the safc goes, I got it from a friend. He needed money, and I was just gonna be out 50 bones, so he gave this up. People have been doing it for years, I really don't see the problem.

It's like you telling me that a chipped ecu is the only way because its better than the safc. So is a "real turbo manifold" (log/ram) the only way, because its better then the HF manifold with adapter?

Ass Clown.

ok, sweet. What rods are you using? Seems like the OCZC rods are the preferd option.

Can the tops of the pistons be taken down on a surface grinder. Wouldn't that allow more clearance and lower compression?

When you blow your shit because your timing is fucked from using the SAFC, don't come here fucking crying.

It's solid advice. A chipped ECU IS better, because you can actually tune the timing, fuel, etc.

A SAFC is a hack, nothing more.
