^^ I have to do the same thing tomorrow. I'll do my turbo oil drain while I'm at it.

RHMT style drain. Haha

True that, fuck having someone weld that on. I tapped the pan anyways with a 3/8 pipe tap. Then JB welded the shit shut
-
too bad paul harvey isnt still around we could have him tell one of our jb weld stories during those jb weld story/ads he always did
-
but what do you prefer original j-b weld or JB kwik
-
og j-b weld ftw
jb kwik didnt work for me
-
JB KWIK worked fine for me.
Here's my attempt at the oil pan drain bolt. Mine was stripped, so I cut that shit out of the donor oil pan and welded it in, and then covered the weld with oil pan against leaks.

Yah know they make re-plugs that probably cost less than your weld+ JB weld+ time spent on that....
-
I had to have it done on a sunday night, so it was the only option.
-
I don't know what is the problem, it looks great.
LOL
-
there was a guy along time ago in the old hmt that fucked up grinding down the webbing of the block to clear the turbo and ground a hole in the block then jb welded the hole shut
That was widebody. It's got aluminum weld on in now. O0
-
i dotn have a picture but i dropped my mac tools impact gun of the work bench at work and it cracked right where the air fitting screws in and i just jb welded it back and sanded it down smooth. still works to this day
-

Yeah understandable. Just informing you of the less expensive route.
