I would be a tab bit worried about trying to pay attention to gauges that are no larger than a nickle. On a tablet it would be alright. It would be really sweet if there was a crome/ectune app for android that one could plug in via usb/bluetooth and live tune without need for a laptop. Good find russ none the less.

I was the one who made the post after JD told me about it.

That is the adapter, it comes from Hungery and took almost a month to get. The write up is super simple, just 4 pins. FYI you can by a cheap 7" tablet for around $50. I will be testing this on the F2B if JD ever sends me the ecu :-X

anyone tried tunerview?

I have the TunerView datalogging app for eCtune. The logging works very well, but I'm having a problem with recording videos. It makes the ding noise when I click "record log" which indicated the camera is recording, but it doesn't save any video file. I found a spot where it saved some videos the last time I used it, but no new videos. I'm not sure how useful it would really be since I don't have RaceRender to overlay the log data over the video.
I think the BIG issue is there's no actual guide how to use it. It's relatively simple, but obviously I'm missing some key step.

Set this all up in a buddies car works well 1-2sec delay but works on his phone

There is some delay if you are using a low end tablet. On higher end hardware like my S5 there is no delay at all.
-
It actually records the data to the datalog file at a higher rate than it displays it. My LG G2 has maybe 200ms of lag, but zero lag & much higher refresh when I use DashWare to create a video that displays data in gauges.

Nice I have G3 and G Tablet to try this when I get the beast back together. :noel:
