I like the charge pipe routing very nice.

Vitaras, some rebushed and machined ls rods and you have a nice 300whp setup D

Is it totaled? Kinda looks fixable. Sometimes they will surprise you and fix something they should total.

Parts alone 3500 plus labor and paint will be more than half the value.

The kink in the rear quarter is worse than it looks.  Shit in the rear of the car is bent.

I have seen insurance companies have shops cut cars in half and weld on a new back half rather than total one.

I've seen private shops buy totaled wrecks at auction and do that to make a buck.  Turns out really well if they know what they're about.

This is true, but I refuse to have the car in any other condition the. It was in before the accident. That means only oem new parts. Idc what they say I'll argue till its totaled. Unibody cars are never the same after collisions like this. The rear hatch is tweaked bad, the whole rear tub is creased out, other quarter panel has a crease, whole car will need paint. With quality work it will all add up, and I'll be sure to be there to guide the adjuster through the assessment.

If a good shop does the work, they can be the same or even better.

I have seen the "frankencar" thing come out super clean, but I would never accept it with my own car. I'm the same way with my car, I'll let anyone drive it. It has full coverage insurance, but they better make sure if something happens its totaled. I want another one, not mine fixed.

I can see both sides of this. If it happened to my car I would just want it totaled.
