This is on my H1C I can't tell if this fucker is removable? I tried to un screw it but can't get it loose
-
OIL FEED
If so then yes
My 2 didnt have them
OIL Drain dtraight T3 drain from Tunar TOys is all I needed
Both ports didnt have the fittingas in picture
-
And is that a 21cm housing? I got a smaller one I think out in the shop
-
yeah if it doesn't come out was gonna get a fitting to work with it.
I dunno what size housing it is just got it yesterday.
-
I just went and looked again took the wire brush to it and saw a gap.
How to I measure to see what size housing I have?
Another question whats the average oil psi for these things 20-30 psi?
-
It should have an internal restrictor.
-
If it does I'm pissed, because I got jipped on mine
1/32 BTW if it doenst

I will have to see if I can dig up a pic I have. One of the trucks I helped put a set of twins on, the owner only had -6an line around so that is what he used for his oil feed. No issues. I know that BW recommends a minimum of a -4an on their turbo's. Other then BB turbo's, I have never used a restrictor.
-
1/32 isn't that kinda small? How the hell would i tell if it has a internal restrictor?
-
I would run 1/16th, 1/32nd is more for BB turbo's.
-
the fitting has a nipple in it but that fucker is about 1/4"
-
My Holset H1C did this with a 1/16

And thats after 400 miles at 336whp
Then I went to 1/32 after the rebuild and it I got 446whp out it and then sold to confirm a good rebuild
Restrictor and drain all sold even the brainded lines, just to have what I had and make sure that it wont leak"and I have 78pis oil pressure at WOT"
But fuck all that jazz.
Pt6262E made 470whp on 3.5 cylinders before it all gave out
-
ok so how would I do a restrictor on that? theres no flangejust get a fitting with the 1/32 hole?
-
Take the fitting that screw into it
WELD IT UP
THEN GET A 1/32 bit for a dremel and CHUCK it into a Bridgeport mill
WILL hold a constant RPM/pressure
and then no worries afterwards
DO WORK, and DO IT WELL
-
and if u take that queer fitting out...
get a M12x1.5 to AN adaptor and never look back.
-
I've never heard of anyone having trouble with a .062 restrictor before, I'm not saying you are wrong, I've been wrong many times before.
-
damnit wanted the easy way out. Yup just have to make somethin for this fucking thing.
just looked up the part # and it says I have the 18cm housing
also from what i just read says it should see 30psi at idle and up to 70psi underload
