ive been buying parts for my vitara 1g, and taking the motor out this weekend... it probably wont get done, but i guess we will see :?:

Post by: Adam Lofton on January 15, 2010, 05:54:35 AM: A '75 and '77 Toyota FJ40 with chevy 350's in them. The '77 has a Vortec in it and my friend needed me to wire it for the injection conversion. Beside the engine conversion the owner also had us upgrade many things like the horn, dash, chassis wiring, Bully Dog tuner/monitor, B+M shifter, and a lot of other stuff I'm forgetting.

some bean-dip africaanized the wiring then left my buddy hanging, so when I got into town I did that shit up correctly for him...

Put a fluidyne rad in last weekend , did some brake work , gonna dynamat the interior shortly and add a roll bar.. My EG GRM car is stored away ..

this, I just ordered another tail section(old one was cracked) gotta put new tires on it and just a few cosmetic things,put rear hugger back on. I have a muzzy 4 into 1 on it right now, thinking about a power commander and filter as well, that should put me right around 130whp

Lucky bastard, I still do all my shit by hand. But I'm fabricating a jig I can use that will pretty much resemble a 2-axis mill, but just gonna use rotary tool and a good bit. It's better than holding the fucking tool in my hand.

And yeah, those are H23 runners.

Post by: chris on January 15, 2010, 05:16:54 PM: Both the h22 and h23 manifolds have the bottom half runners like that. Gutting of them is shown to make 4-5 whp extra over just port matching on stock h22a's but it is ungodly amount of work by hand.

bought a smaller turbo for the galant, wont sell for the money i want with the 38mm and garrett 60/63 on it haha, still have to throw an oil cooler on it and shifter bushings and short throw shit i have had laying around forever but i decide to drink instead with the cold weather haha the EG will be up for sale this spring time. going to buy a newer car.
