Not really.  I've looked around.  $5k doesn't buy you much at all.

This car is what it is.  If you like Civic EFs with decent N/A power, this car might tickle your fancy.  Not too many of these cars floating around in good condition without rust.

I guess you meant "Not / Available" power" ?

up here in rust land that car would fetch 5K all day long.  The host of a Canadian car show recently sold his 91 Si  with 60,000 miles on it , no winters...just about perfect for 11G's. It was for sale for 2 hrs.

Yeah I thought about a tdi but they were all like 10-11k unless they had 300k on the clock.

I bought mine with 89,000Km's (~55,000 Miles) at the end of Oct. It rolled over 106,000km's (~66,000 Miles) the other day. Pretty much the only reason I bought a vw was for the TDI. It was tough to find a wagon 5spd tdi, with reasonable millage, and I paid dearly for it.  :-\

In this part of Indiana, he would get his $5k. If I had $4k, id offer it to him.  :?:

I've had offers of that on my car as a roller without a drivetrain.  Almost tempting.

Swapped ED Civics/CRXs are on CL everyday around here for less than $3500...and most DON'T SELL. $5k isn't that great of a deal.

Ill throw down $500 for the swap

I once sold a rustfree 91 civic dx with a y8 swap for $2250.....

It all depends on the buyer...  If its what they want they'll paid whatever...

If I had throw away money I'd buy that hatch..

That car is the furthest thing from your typical craigslist Honda car (in this area). Even more, its not a typical swapped civic....IMO.

widenigger...hit me up faggot. I pick up my car this weekend. Ready for a little trip. Hooters in merriville this spring?

There were 2 b16 swapped CRXs in Walla Walla that were not riced out and overall pretty damn clean. One was going for less than $3k

It really varies by location, and arguing about the car's value is fruitless.  It is worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

Personally, I am generally willing to spend quite a bit over average to get a rust free 4th gen Civak or a 2nd gen CRX.  In my area, smack in the middle of the rust belt, they are hard as hell to find.

That CRX I had forsale for a buddy  took forever to sell .

Rust Free CRX
B16 swap (done)
Rust free (new 1/4's and paint) really nice work
fidanza flywheel , oil line in place for boost..
new suspension and brakes

couldn't get a soul at $1500 , ended up selling it for a grand.
