its about time the US start making competetive cars, hope its more reliable than 3 years. they just starting to learn bigger does not make them automatically beter, way to use a smaller engine to create a great car. 10 thumbs up for ford to get smart.

bigger is always better
bigger engine with direct injection + twin turbos = better than smaller engine with direct injection and twin turbos

yeah power wise of course. not necessarily when it comes to fuel economy or reliability. not everything is built like an lsx and makes 500hp with bolt on and gets 48mpg stop and go traffic.

Exactly how GM think and why they fail. I'm impressed with Ford these days, really.
Small displacement + turbo is best. You can't still have very good power and torque while spending no gas when not in boost.
Try that with a V8. You'll spend a lot of gas not in boost and an fucking huge amount of gas when in boost.
Who need 1000hp in the street anyway. 350hp is more than enough on the road.

i know you're canadian and french... go lookup the gas mileage for cars with around 350hp and what type of engines they have.
all the v8 engines get better mileage than the high revving v6s or turbo 4 or 6s
GM fail because they tried to be like you, socialist

a C5 vette with an auto will get low 30's all day long. I recorded 29mpg in a c4 , 4+3 turd bucket on a trip across the province.
Look at STi's gas mileage and tell me that small displacement turbo cars are where it's at. 17-18 mpg combined. No Torque + laggy turboo's = deep gears and shitty mileage.

Much cooler than a vette.....

I formally resign and delete my account. If you're here, then that means there must be more in the lurking in the shadows. No place is safe.
