Title: po5 vtec conversion

i need to chip an ecu tonight and it has a 1720 board. i have a bad p28 here, can i just use the big resistor for RM11 from the p28? i have everything else other than that to convert it

i would search pgmfi you need the board # i have 2 junk p28 on p06 they were direct changeovers.

they are both 1720 boards

Well, thanks for the help. Turns out that one of the resistors in the 11fo kit is different than the 1720 kit so I couldn't do it anyway. I also found out the guy just wants to sell the car so I gave him a map with vtec disabled so the car would run decent. Can't say I condone that sort of stuff, but all I did was sell him a chipped ecu with a basemap
