Title: FREE TOYO TIRES
Post by: onlyflash944 on January 31, 2010, 10:29:15 PM
for up to 500 miles or 45 days, whichever comes first.  Certian models only but they have some proxies.  Was thinking about getting some of the cheaper proxies, then taking them back and buying some R888s for track days this year.  Anyone already done this?

i don't understand why anyone serious about wanting a performance tire would buy an all-season anything.  to me it just makes more sense not to settle for an upper level all-season and get some winter tires and the summer performace tires you really want.

the people i've talked to that do the speed world challenge hate the R888s.  i just wonder if that is because thats all they can use or because they really suck for the race cars they are used on

I bought some falken ze912's for my Stupidru and loved them. They are a performance all-season tire. I used them on dry road, snow, rain, down a dirt road and into a little bit of mud. The tires were great for this alone. I pushed these tires as hard as I did my potenza re-01r's and they did great. I wouldnt think about taking the re-01r's into anything other than pavement...
