Title: Cam angle?

Will be tuning my first k-series motor I've read alot on the stupid I l-vtec cam angle bs can anyone here give any small tips I shuold follow ? Thanks

From what I understand, it is similar to tooning VTAK engagement point.

Do several pulls at different cam phase angles, and optimize the overall powerband with the info you have gathered.

DISCLAIMER:  I have not touched a K series other than an alternator change on a CRV.

What are you tuning it on?  Because there are a couple of differences between Hyundaidata and AEM.  If Hyundaidata, are the injectors larger than stock?

Hundyidata civic si kswap in eg chassis 450cc bigger tb I'm and 3in exhaust side cut exit before rear wheel

Didn't say I don't understand I'm looking sugestive tips on how to goabout it hence my first time with the program. I'd rather not run into it blind it's easier for me to get tips from someone who uses the program rather tha. Reading the breif comments on it from  the web

tune fuel and ignition first, then make a composite cam angle map with each pull locked in one cam angle throughout the pull.  Put all the pulls up on the chart and determine where the engine likes the cam angle per RPM range.  Be sure to save the part throttle/mid load cam angle chart and save it in the notepad.  remember it takes time for the cam to advance or retard so you need to remember that when making the composite cam angle map.

You left out the per-gear fuel trim failure with larger than stock injectors that lets you know it's a poorly cobbled together hack.

i've used kpro once.  My experience is limited.
