I read elsewhere that his clutch was slipping most of the video and the idiot didn't notice. The hood buckling is from the flywheel overheating and grenading. Took almost everything out under the hood. Too bad it missed him.

watched the video again, theres holes in the hood, thats definitely a clutch/flywheel explosion, that dumb ass is lucky hes not hurt.

i think the standard flywheel exploding would be unlikely unless it was twisted hard (9,000 or 10,000) but, neon blocks are seasoned by a bunch of 8 year-olds, so i could see the flywheels being poorly treated as well. neon blocks can crack so easily that if im getting blocks from the junk yard i will rule out the ones with spun rod bearings completely, if they have just the slightest head slap (the kind you cant even see on the head or the piston) the block, more then likely, has a crack going from the deck strait down to the mains. chrysler makes all the best shit. and dont forget, the absolute epitome of automotive gayness, the mod clutch setup, make sure the clutch and flywheel stay put by mounting them on a flex plate, brilliant.

i love neons... flame on.
