Title: 5" exhaust
Post by: arsenio on February 24, 2010, 12:18:24 AM
So I just got the big ass 5" mandrel bent mandingo pipe, beaner cheap.

Should I do a 5 inch exhaust? It has enough bends to do downpipe back. I would just need some straight section.

I obviously don't need this, but hey, bitches love big pipe.

Whitey bends with coffee cans. How a real hmt'er makes a big exhaust. :noel:

With 5" you're not reducing sound, you're simply moving it from point A to point B. I don't think 6" will have any improvement over 5", just a lot harder to make fit. One thing that I always wanted to do was to borrow that 6" flex tube semi's have between their engine & stacks. Just scared of becoming some meth head's bitch.

That would kick ass for a rear mounted turbo setup.  You could fit a pair of 2" pipe in there.
