Dog got loose. Was chasing him, tripped at 110% throttle, wheelied and barrel rolled mid air, landed on back of right shoulder.

It was fail to the point of win. Still caught the dog.

i did mine avoiding a sucker punch.  it sucked.  keep your arm in the sling for at least 3 weeks.  you may not hurt after 1-2, but it will take longer to heal if you don't use that sling.

You gotta be like hotrex. Live life at 66% throttle. That way when you fail, you at least aren't out of breath.

Actually I bet at 66% throttle his fat ass probably gets out of breath chasing bean dip down with a keystone ice.

i had a grade two shoulder separation like 5 years ago, and it still bothers me from time to time.  i think i'd rather just broken something so it could have healed up right.

I broke mine when i was 16 and damn doctors didnt set it so it healed with the bone sticking out my damn shoulder so they had to go in and shave part of the bone down it sucked so instead of taking few months to heal took like 6 months.GOt to LOve Doctors!

Ya Collarbone suck

Broke mine almost at the end towards the shoulder.... when I was 17 rolling my 68 camaro off the side of the freeway at 70-80... fell asleep at the wheel... Fucking gay.. barrel roolled and end over end. Roll bar saved my life... Wasnt wearing a seatbelt either.

came back to school after 3 or 4 days and the rumor was that I was dead...  Fucking miraculous i wasnt... ill post pics of that thing after the crash sometime... FLAT, sides caved in and driveshavft came out the trunk.....  68 camaros are fucking tough cars.

SHitty. Adrenaline numbed it for a good minute, percocet took care of the rest of it... Did they give you one of those butterfly braces that pull your shoulders back???

Aside from some small bones in my hand, I've never broken anything.  I daresay my bones have just now become as brittle as a normal teenager's, so I guess I have something to look forward to.  :?:

Same here. The only bone I have ever broken was in a car accident where my hand got caught in the door handle, pulled my thumb straight back and then launching my hand into the windshield. Turned out it snapped my hand about middle way between my thumb down to my wrist. The broken bone barely hurt, resetting it was a different story.

+2 use the sling.  I didn;t take it easy, and it took forever for mine to heal, they finally put a plate on it, and I ended up breaking the plate too.  Now my collar bone is this big ugly lump, and it will never be right.  Use the sling.

Yep, butterfly brace. Uncomfortable as a bitch, but not as bad as the pain from the break. It's like my sholder and the side of my neck are suddenly on fire.

Perc's barely knock the edge of it off.

Still working with it. People at the new company seem to be impressed.

Negative Sir, taking nothing while I work.

Need a clear head while on the phone and making monetary decisions.

Can still type, just have to prop my arm up a certain way to keep most of the pain away.
