Title: rHMT donkage
Post by: mrgreengenes on March 05, 2010, 03:17:55 AM
UGH.   HY35, meet your new friend, LS2.  Snapped a couple shitty cell phone pics while the cust was paying his bill for getting me to reflash his ecu with HP tuners.  Interesting idea, complete THUMBS UP rHMT fab with the up pipes and DP, as well as BOV pipe all mig'ed to perfection, oil feed leaks all over, and blue smoke at idle.  Poor taste in _______.

Note how the running boards/fender have been "shaved" to fit the wheels

Enjoy

Phil

This is almost as bad as most VW's. Saved only because it's a turbo ls2.

I've seen a pickup with similar wheel on the side of the highway. He had lost the 2 rear wheels. I had no camera at that time, it sucks!

WTF that hy35 would be choking that LS2 at idle. Drive pressures must be nut bar on that.

That's not an hy35. Looks like a baby h1c with 18cm^2 exhaust and the hose outlet means its a 50mm induscer.

How can you tell?
the power station(red box location), the coils them selves, how the harness is ran, etc. Its a 6.0l LQ9. Higher compression then the truck 6.0l from the pistons being domed. That is if it is actually a Escalade. If its a Tahoe with a front clip its a 5.3

so what is the motor in my 04 denali?
factory? 6.0l. Not sure if it is the lq4 or lq9. However I would assume lq9 as it is the gmc version of an escalade

edit: upon inspection it is the lq4 lower compression 317 headed 6.0l

with a staggering 325 H.P.
