Power fc plus commander goes for like $800 used + more invested for the laptop compatable harness and ecu conversion harness for my car.
Greddy emanage ultimate is like $540 shipped for the whole unit bnib.
Which should i get?
Both are fairly easy to self tune and install.
I've heard of people having problems with both but i know there are some emanage users on here. Pros/cons?

PFC works, and correctly. If you have a problem it's because you aren't using Datalogit.
Greddy Gay Boxes have yet to work all that great for me. They fight the ECU so the tune is never stable, or are prone to RF noise, etc.

I was hoping the emanage ultimate had most of the bugs worked out from the og. The features and price lured me in.
I did my homework on the power fc and it's a pretty trick unit. There isn't much to be said about blue unit or ultimate on rotary engines in the states. A handful of blue unit users (most of which can't get the thing to work well for long) and the ultimate users are greddy sponsored comp cars in japan.

I had to do an RX8 with a fully rewired harness and emanage ultimate, so it would operate the 3rd pair of injectors separately, wow what a fuckaround. never ended up working properly, inconsistant fuel and timing adjustments. Then tried using accessport...
The GUI on the fleamanage was created in japanland, and it showed...

Me too. Power fc with dataloggit is probably going to be my best bet IF i want to retain the factory ecu. It's not an effort to save money, It's to build my own base map so i can actually drive to a tuner without blowing my shit up.
Ignition timing without running the flapper box is fucked and i'm told i can't stage injectors properly with it yet greddy claims full on 100 percent control of each injector INDIVIDUALLY.
Power fc it is. Price doesn't bother me. Wasting money on a management system that's burger king status does.....
