These are some of my first aluminum welds. It is .025 aluminum so ubber thin which made it a bitch. Probably why I had some much trouble with the T welds.

You have a couple with decent consistency, looks like you have the right idea, just need to keep doing it.

How are you welding this are you pulsing or are you just dabbing?

Just dabbing. I tried the pulser once and that is the fucked up one in the middle at the bottom. The rest are all just dabbing.

What rod, amps, etc.... I almost always run hot on Aluminum as i hate running the risk of not having a good tie in.

This. I pretty much always start Aluminum foot to the floor, and then just ease back a touch once it is flowing.

1/16th r4043, 3/32 thoriated, gas lense, 120 amps, hit about 75% pedal, then backed off a little when it started flowing. Seems the longer I welded the more I needed to back off the pedal.

That happens in small work pieces as they heat up, you need less heat input.
