Ok i have an idea but im not to electronic savy i the terms of solinoids and shit like so.
Basicly on my new build i will be using ectune for my EMS but i also want to make a homemade water meth kit a local shop guy turned me on to this idea using a washerfluid resivore only problem is he has to pull back wiper handle to engage spray. I know i need some type of ecu controled trigger to activate the pump but im not sure how to go about it. I want to use elecboost control with dual maps one for 7psi stock gate and another 12psi using secondary maps with meth injection. I know there are secondary events that can be controld via Certian condtions but how would i go about activating the pump. i was thinking Run power from the battery to the pump and mabey having ecu act as the ground But im honestly clueless about the shit so help a nog out.

Most of the ECU outputs are good for a very small current, nothing that would support a fuel pump. Some of them will take half to most of a second about drawing closed the contacts on a common 30A Bosch relay, making that not ideal either.
I have a bag full of DC logic high speed 3A/60V switches from Opto 22 in my toolbox. Similar to these, but in red and I have ~$3/per in them:

Use the ECU as the ground path to activate the SSR (solid state relay) and you'll be golden.

thanks jd what we doing is runnig it from the washer fluid pump. to a .46 nitrous jet in the charge pipe. The mix is 2 bottles of heat gasline antifreeze and top off with with washer fluid -30* suppose to be some type of 45-55 mix.
