Can someone find the value of my 1980 honda cx500 for me? im not at home and some guy just offered me 1500 for it. Its almost fully restored, seat and exhaust are thats left. paint is fresh but has its flaws. has like 16k miles on it. my only thing is that me and my dad restored it and it has alot of sentamental (sp?) value to me.

Well im not sure, my dad paid like 200 for it for me when i cut my hand up last year, but we have done a shitload to it. But i do really love the bike....

1500 is a screaming deal(unless for some reason you have put that much into it...) those bikes are usually worth 500$ maybe 1000+ for a mint one. usually less then 500 if it has problems. i bought one for 100 then traded it for a 26 gallon air compressor with some air tools worth 350+. mine had a good motor but needed a bunch of little parts for it. cables, some bolts, front break caliper and shit. to much to fix up for cheap. depending on the bike and condition of course the general rule is 1$ per cc on older bikes. does yours have the kick start plus the electric start?

No just electric start. im not gunna sell it, worth more to me than that. but at least its nice enough to attract that kind of offer.
