Title: The return of Crazy Dave
Post by: Joseph Davis on March 24, 2010, 01:10:06 PM
This motherfucker was a harbinger of distraction the last time I let him into my life, constantly pushing the reset button on my ADHD.  I hope it doesn't go that way again because he comes up with the craftiest shit I've ever seen, and usually on a $5 budget.

I rolled out Sunday to cut down a 94 Integra harness for his Merkur, when I asked him where the rest of the IM was so I could position the IACV/TPS/MAP plugs correctly he puts this shit into my hands.

Next time I'm out (it'll be a 17-20 hour wiring job spread across 3-5 hour booty calls) I'll get some pics of his $8 stainless 3" exhaust, it took him three years worth of biweekly visits to the scrapyard to collect it all.

I'm sure this guy's already found something that's cheaper than a free handicap bathroom rail for his wastegate dump.

I have always loved the fire extinguisher intake mani.  Never been able to make one myself not being able to weld aluminum.  Oh how the times have changed.  I may have to try this now.

I gotta find something even more ridiculous to make a mani out of.

I wanted to make a muffler with one of those, stuffed with stainless "brillo" pan scrubbers, and a perforated pipe. True aluminum exhaust.

If I could weld aluminum, this would be done already.

Speedo is going to be interesting.  Tacho is going to be pie.  Everything else we'll fit the stock sender.

I think it would be unpleasant to be him, he pathologically can't sit still.  Ten years ago he used to fuck shit up a lot, not because he lacked talent but because he did everything so fast shit would get broken.  Only person I ever heard of (watched) do an AWD DSM clutch in an hour and a half with no lift, fucking wacky shit.
