Had to jump on another bike. $3k for an 05 GSXR 750 w/ 13k miles. Full yosh exhaust and some other bits and pieces. Never been down, and it's been babied it's whole life. So now I gotta decide between it or the 954RR. Halp.
2005 Suzuki GSX-R 750
Full Yoshimura Exhaust
Integrated Tail Signals
Flushmount Turn Signals
13k miles, never down, babied by a nice chica
or
2003 Honda 954RR
Galfer Wave Rotors
Galfer -2 SS brake line up front
Vesrah XX Pads F/R
Ohlins R&T forks
Ohlins Rear shock
F/R Suspension setup by Dan Kyle
Protech Diamond Grips
CRG Shorty Levers
HRC Covers
Scotts Damper
Greggs Flushmount Signals/Integrated Tail
Corbin Seat
LP Frame Sliders
BMC Race Air Filter
Factory Pro Velocity Stacks
Tech-G Adjustable Rearsets (GP Shift currently)
Flapper Mod
Haas Servo Eliminator
MIG Undertail Exhaust (1 year limited production)
PCIII/Custom Dyno Tune (Needs a new one)
DID/EV3 520 Chain -1/+2 Sprockets
Pilot Power 2CT Tires
12k Miles on motor, 36k on frame, and it's been down a handful of times and repaired.
The 954RR was about $1500 more than the 750. So, what say ye of little faith

no such thing as a babied bike
and i would keep the honda

954 was a cool bike for its day but its not its day any more... setup up to the gsxr. maybe a smaller maotor but its lighter and will handel MUCH better.

Trust me, the Suzuki lived a pampered life, I know the full history of both bikes from pretty much new.
-
Ride em both and keep what you are more comfortable on. I went from an 02 Yamaha R6 to a 05 GSXR600 because it was newer and I assumed it would be better. The R6 seemed to have more torque and was more comfortable for me. Sold the Suzuki last summer for a bit of profit and am on the lookout for a nice 1st gen R6 on the cheap.

i try not to talk myself out of getting high hp bikes. because in reality eventualy ill wreck it and probably at high speeds. right now i just have a 82 yamaha seca 750. wont go over 126. 5 speed, 80 hp. fun lilttle bike. kinda want to get something different eventually but not really bigger. just different.

You stole the gsxr, I'd be tempted to sell it and make a couple thousand, but the 750 is a great bike.
-
Sell the modded Honda to some fanboi homo and ride the gixxer.

Yeah, I'm real tempted. But it's a newer, nicer overall bike for what it is. May just sell the CBR and throw some money at the 750

There's a sweet deal on a 954 in the FS forum.
-
Just the frame. Not such a sweet deal.
-
All it needs is a little work. Do it!
-
Looking at places to buy in Vegas, no time for another bike haha
-
i like suzuki's better....go with the 750
-
954 is clearly the better bike. i wish i never sold mine
-
I wish I could find bikes that new, with such low miles, that were babied, for that price down here...
-
I wish I could find them consistently. I flipped both for a decent profit yesterday. Never even saw either bike after I bought them :)

Picked up an 05 ZX6R with 6700 miles, ported head, cams, yosh exhaust, track and street plastics, just needs some Ohlins to be ready to rumble. Assuming JD is a helpful soul.
