So, I deactivated this pile of glitch iphone, and while I'm on a regular phone, I'm convinced if I hound them enough, they'll attempt to fix the problem.
Iphone 9 months old.
Called iphone support, and the guy told me the same thing as the website tech support, THAT I HAVE TO PAY TO TALK TO THEM ABOUT THEIR FUCKED UP >1 YR OLD (still under warranty) PHONE.
Hahaha, so arrogant I had to post a screen shot. Who the fuck lets companies treat them this way?

I talked to a guy at RIM (blackberry) that got me into the older OS versions on Sprints website and was instructing me on how to down grade my phone to get some options back. I don't really like the Blackberry but their customer support is great.

i understand alot of people have had issues with the iphone, and i agree the applecare is total bullshit, but i have had mine for a year and a half, and have had zero issues.
my phone has been through hell, i work in the oil field, it has been dropped hundreds of times, from the top of wellheads, out of trucks, been dropped in mud, and even went for a swim, and has never failed me.
the time it went for a swim i thought it was over, i was in the shower and for some reason thought it would be a good idea to set on the ledge of the tub, and i heard it fall into the shower, never thought twice, and when i went to shut the water off i found it sitting over the drain, completely soaked for about 5 min or so.
i shut it off, wrapped it in a towel shook it out and placed it over the heater for a couple hours, no issues at all
with my contract nearing the end i looked into the droid everyone has a hard-on for and i honestly wasnt impressed, i like my iphone better for reasons i really cant even explain.
i think of it like pussy, it just does it for me, too bad everything else associated with it has to be a fucking pain in the ass...

I got the moto droid. Great all around phone, customer support is nice too. Also flash is suppose to be avalible soon. Only thing I don't like is the slide out keyboard is total fail... but there is the n screen one too.

i have the htc droid eris, i like it. not keyboard, but my last windows mobile phone didnt have one either. it does have all the htc widgets, that apparently the motorola does not.
apple is just concentrated gayness in latop/iphone/ipad form

I only like more about the moto is the specs (processor, screen, memory, etc)
The G1 slideout keyboard is 10x > droid's keyboard. Of course, HTC has been making them for years and years.
Every HTC phone I've owned has been quality. My G1 has endured about a year and half of being dropped frequently and still keeps ticking away. Will probably just stick with HTC until they give me a reason not to... Besides, nexus one, supersonic, incredible, 4g evo, etc are some hawt phones.

So, I took the data package off my account, and bought a shitty flip phone trying to be rouge. Well, my fucken wife puts her sim card in my iphone, and says all the internet/gps stuff works if you're in a wi-fi zone. Then she starts sporting that shit, while my fucken business is dying with me carrying this bullshit flip phone around. GPS/notes/voice recording/pictures to computer are what I just...fucking use. Flip phone sucks cock.
Anyway, I checked my wife, and now I'm using the iphone with pop-ups for the time being, no data package, just cruising wi-fi spots. I think I will either buy a flawless working used iphone from this guys garage, or I'll drop duckets and get the Motorola Backflip. Unsure.

Get Google Maps from the marketplace, has the built in navigation and such.

lol the google maps on my BB is useful for the maps but the "my location" is a joke. im sure it works better on other phones though. it narrows down my location within 5000 meters, i could randomly guess where i am and do better then that.

Does your Blackberry have GPS and is it on? I'm betting $432.11 that your phone does not have the GPS hardware and thus is triangulating your position by sending signals to any surrounding cellphone towers, and calculating your location based on how long it takes to get a response... Of course it's not accurate, there's too many things that can screw it up.
Don't blame Google Maps, "My Location" works perfectly on a phone with GPS :P I can use mine in a majority of homes/buildings and it's accurate as fuck. If your GPS is off/doesn't exist, then it goes by the cell towers.

True, but most HTC phones have Sense. There are fewer Android phones that are "real" Android than ones that aren't. They will all run any app for their version though.
