need to blast a couple bumpers i want to paint. What kind of media is going to remove the chrome?
Thanks guys

Shit I don't know, how thick is the plating? I would say something like glass? Or some other hard edgy media. I've only used walnut shells for motor blasting and engine bay blasting.

Blast it with piss.

Use brake lathe shavings.

If you could get enough to actually do something large, that sounds like a great idea. I knew I liked your trollin' ass for some reason. This and the silicone piece. keep it up sir

aluminum oxide, just scrape your block-shits harder than diamond and free

Actually you can get silicon carbide. Harder than anything else, also self-sharpens as it breaks. Black beauty with enough pressure would probably still work and be waaaay cheaper. Aluminum oxide would be in-between those two. You'd just want to be careful of warpage regardless of media you use.

Drag the bumpers bhind a dirt baike and do wheelies up and down the beach.

on the powder coating boards they say the only way to really remove chrome is with chemicals
