So I somehow found this link, seems like a great deal if you want a new/remfg'd Hoeslut. I'm not sure if it's a HX40 wheel, but it says it has a slightly bigger comp wheel that also spools up faster.

I'm thinking about combining this with a cheap non-wg'd 12cm or 18cm housing, since it doesn't come with one. I'd also put a flapper valve in it for an integrated "quick spool valve".

The problem is I'm really caught between this and a 50trim Garrett that comes with an ATP divided housing. It's the same price as that "bare" hx35. It would end up on a summer daily driver with a built LS/vtec. ???

That PDR "Hybrid" HX-35 is just a stock HX-35 with the stock wastgate ported and a compressor upgrade similar to this: http://www.gillettdiesel.com/HXUpgradeCompressorHousingandWheel60mm6blade.aspx (http://www.gillettdiesel.com/HXUpgradeCompressorHousingandWheel60mm6blade.aspx)

Well the fact it's basicly rebuilt and not $1000 is the main selling point for me.
I'm curious if anyone's seen any cheaper rebuilt/new HX35's...

http://www.adpdistributors.com/facilities.html (http://www.adpdistributors.com/facilities.html) builds pdr turbo's, and actually owns pdr as well. Might be cheaper from the source.
