So I made a donation to PA state troopers, got clocked by an undercover doing 97 in a 65 and pulled over by a marked unit a few miles later (which is jackboot thug terrorist bullshit anyway) and he refused to make the ticket go away but put me down for 80 in a 65 due to my being an aux po and emt... the faggot left "97 in 65" in the comment field though, so if I go to court judge will rape me. Said pig fucker spelled my name" yurity " instead of yuriy on the ticket though, and I feel like being ticketed by someone who misspells my name in his e-file, and was not even the unit clocking me would probably result in a reduction, at a minimum if I did go. Any thoughts? It;s likely im just going to fuck myself and pay the fine.
-
Fight it. Technicality, and the officer writing the ticket isn't the one that clocked you (assuming).
-
was traffic busy? is there any distinct markings on the car you were driving. ask for a discovery so you can read the file before hand. then make up some lie about how you seen a car that was the same color as yours but not sure the model as it went by pretty fast. use the police report in your advantage using the road markings they used in your story or just make there report look like a mess and they couldnt even get your name right. either way deny it was you.
were you still speeding when the second cop pulled you over?
-
My bro fought and won a ticket cause his name was miss spelled, the date was wrong too.
-
You were rushing to get to the tomb of Jesus before he became zombiefied and floated away.
-
I've never fought a ticket, I deserved everyone I ever got and then some.
-
Always not guilty

Always not guilty
Exactly. The burden of proof is on them. Don't donate your money to the fucking terrorist government. Make them fucking earn it like you have to.
-
def always plead not guilty. and stop going 97 in a 65 tard. Especially on a Sunday morning, much less Easter morning. Nothing like killing a family on the way to breakfast with grandma for Easter
-
Any ticket I get these days I pay a lawyer $240 and he makes it go away. Its cheaper to pay a lawyer then take a day off work and try and fight it, or pay the extra insurance if you just pay the ticket. And its alot easier to get a job with a clean record if you have to do anykind of driving
-
I'm fairly sure the officer that clocked you would have to be the one to write you the ticket. Wait till you go to court and bring that up as the officer who seen you do the offense has to be there as the other officer would be just hearsay.

This. The rest of you need to harden the fuck up and accept your mistakes.

Yes because accepting a traffic ticket makes you so hard (https://realhomemadeturbo.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.realhomemadeturbo.com%2Fforum%2FSmileys%2Fclassic%2Frolleyes.gif&hash=5805137b67db00abde932177bc58b11cc93be8c2)

this will work if the other cop doesn't show up and the judge is not corrupt.
good luck

Not at all. But you guys are bunch spineless bitches if you can't accept responsibility for getting caught doing something you know is wrong and already understand the consequences of.

Get a lawyer, have him tell the court they need to find this "yurity" that was driving your car w/o your knowledge and pay restitution for gas and wear/tear on said car. The fact a different officer pulled you over will further fuck things for them.
Honestly though, who the fuck's time is so valuable that you need that extra 3 minutes 97 in a 65 will net you? That's like $5 if you get paid $100/hr. People who get paid like taht have secretaries that plan their entire month for them, as well as chaufers that drive them around with cars with booze in them.
Always not guilty
That's funny, that's what the GOVERNMENT SAYS each time someone accuses THEM of breaking the law. Hmmmmmm....
i accept them, i'm just not giving a corrupt "justice" system my cash. you're a fucking idiot if you just pay tickets.
Shit, you mean to say your a nogface and you live in Milwaukee? Shit, I never knew you lived so close. O0

Speeding isn't wrong, maybe you think its wrong but I don't. The fact that it is a "law" doesn't make it wrong either

Maybe if you think that the speed limit is set fairly and purely for safety. I however feel that many times the speed limits are set as such for economic reasons. In that case I'm not accepting it as a mistake. Did I knowingly break a law? Yes. The point is that it isn't as clean and clear as you make it sound. If I can get out of a ticket I will. I don't believe they play fairly, why should I?

So if I have to go to court either way and as I stand there in front of the judge I an either say A) Yeah I'm guilty, judge says pay $175 on your way out B) Make up some crap that will keep that $175 nested in my pocket I should go with option A just because I know I was speeding? Holy shit guys, lawyers are about to be out of business, this guy just solved all the legal systems woes

I'm pretty sure you are wrong.
When being tracked by airplane, how is the officer gonna land to give you the ticket?????

You know you will just offer half the price that they want.

True didn't think of that. I can honestly say I have never been ticketed by getting nailed by aircraft though. I'm sure that officer would still have to be at the court appearance. The only two tickets I actually ended up paying on I just got driving school on both so it stayed off my record and was the same price.
-
I would fight it 100% for sure if it was local to me - the ticket is in a jurisdiction several hours away and the comment field says 97 in a 65 so I don't want to have the judge flip a cocksack at me because I admit that was a tad unreasonable.

Just call up a lawyer and have him do it. I'm sure since he has the wrong name and the different speed in the comments that it will go away quickly.

tell him that because you are russian the CAR DRIVE YOU!

Because its idiots like you that have the government coming up with even more idiotic laws. I definitely agree that some speed limits are posted too low and are a form of revenue generation. However 97 in a 65, is a bit fast. Yuriy got caught doing something that is illegal, he knew was illegal, and already knew the consequences of. Why should anyone have their tax dollars working towards providing a way for him to escape punishment for something that is wrong?
Even if the speed limit was low, either do the speed limit or don't get caught.
-
I absoloutely agree that I was breaking a minor traffic law if the facts are true as presented on the ticket but
I do not agree with said law
And if many innocent people pay tickets to avoid hassle, some guilty people need to hassle to avoid tickets
I know I paid an absurd nyc ticket because I had no proof of innocence despite having had a legal reason for my actions
And I know how these ticket scams work I'm an auxiliary police officer... its just the so called jusrice system that sometimes baffles me
-
I speed every day of my life, sometimes (alot) way over the speed limits, so when I do get cought, I just pay up and go on with life. Like someone else said, I deserve every ticket and then some. I got a ticket doing 53 over once, the cop reduced it to 30 over and said "I was a kid once too", that was years ago when I was just 18.
If I were you I would just be happy he reduced it to what he did and pay the fine.
-
Being from the Northeast, we already pay stupid high insurance premiums. As a result, I'd fight any traffic violation which results in points. 3 points can be an additional $1500 over 3-4 years in insurance premiums. To plea out the ticket would probably be $500.
-
I have to go with bigwig on his statement. Its not the short term debt thats really worth bitching about, but its the longterm insurance payout to keep the point to nill.
-
This is something i learned when i got old a while ago.... Excessive speeding, while fun, doesn't really save enough time to be worth doing consistently. If I do 10 over, the cops usually drive by. Also officers are more willing to give warnings to ppl who haven't had a ticket in two years.
