I get it shipped to a UPS store in Ogdensburg NY, about 45 mins away. I have a bunch of stuff there already.

You have a K-series.

Where do you get yours? Warp beyond saving with a belt sander?
-
If you sand them they dont seal
-
CRMB is where i get my v-bands. I just slip the pipe through the flange a little bit to make sure it lines up. I have never had a issue with them leaking.
-
Yeah, I saw they have mild steel vbands for pretty cheap.
-
Buy me some 3" naggers.

Great. Thanks so much for that.
-
No Problem, you can also get them off ebay just make sure they are clampco...top notch shit and stainless. I pay bout 40 for the clamp and 2 3in ID flanges
-
Bought a bunch of them off ebay, usually like $20-$30 shipped for ss 3in clamp and 2 flanges. I've never had a problem with them warping. Do you mean as you weld them or from the heat of the exhaust over time?
-
during welding they can warp is what there saying.
-
the good thing about ebay stainless vband flages is that they arent really stainless so they dont warp as bad.
-
I always weld short 1/2 inch welds at a time while they are clamped. Never had them warp.

V-bands mild steel FTMFW! you will love them when you have to pull the exhaust off in a pinch!
-
Eville140 tig welded my whole exhaust with V bands and done a constant bead and went over them again with more filler rod...No warpage at all. Must be his skill of laying dimes over with precision

Or they were welded extremely cold?

lol ^^^
I have 2 sets of these speedy racer honda ebay vbands on my exhaust and they are okay. The flanges weld really well. The only thing I noticed is that the bolt part of the clamp is small, and I stripped one of them out trying to get it tight. If you buy them don't overtighten them. Mine seal just fine, no warpage, just welded with it clamped and tried not to get it too hot.
On the other hand I also bought a set from crmb for my downpipe, and their vband assembalies are top notch.
-
I really wish CRMB had some 2.5" assemblies in stock.
ARGGGG.
