i don't usually like cruisers, but that is cool

That bike reaks 80s.
How much?

Bike looks pretty sweet. Bet its comfy to ride too.

I have a cruiser as well, I like the looks of the triumphs, I want to ride the new 1600 twin they came out with.

Nice Bonnie. Being brand new it's fuel injection right? They just incorporate the FI stuff inside of the carbs so it still looks carb'd. What made you pick a Bonnie over a Thruxton or Speed Triple?

Yea, its efi. The fake carbs were really the only thing i thought was uncool about the bike, I kinda wish they just made them look like normal throttle bodies.
The Thruxton was pretty pimp but was more $$ and they only had the 2010 models so there would have been less/no bargaining. My goal is to make mine look more like a Thruxton over time (lower bars, different seat, etc) since they are basically the same bike. I'm also not very tall and the lower seat of the bonneville just felt right.
For it being last years model they knocked off like 800 and i got them to toss in a free helmet and discounted other extras. Total with tax, a jacket, cover, etc was like $8700

I've been looking into a GS500 naked, seems kinda decent, affordable, and lots of things basically bolt onto it. Have yet to see one in person or ride one though so who knows.
There was a guy down the street that bought a bike just like yours for $500 cept it was from the 80's, he loved it.

If it was from the 80's it was nothing like his bike, except maybe they both had parallel twin, the gs500 is a good starter bike. I'd opt for the sv650 instead though, I had an sv for awhile and loved it. I recently upgraded to a z1000
