When you have to take pictures everyday of used parts for ebay trust me build threads are a major pain in the arse. I fucking hate taking pictures+re-sizing. I do it everyday for the last 5+ years.  :'(

When its running, making passes at the track I will sit down and take some pictures. Until then its a pile of 20 year old garbage that doesnt run.

why not just set your camera to the size you want the pics to be?
that way you don't need to resize.
also photobucket will resize them for you automatically when you upload them

That's enough of your Smartocities.

how many years until it can't be smogged? or are you saying that it runs so bad it fails?

1974 is the cut off year for no smog required in california. It use to be a 30 year rule but that went out the window

If it gets what is called a gross polluter on the smog check the car has a red flag the rest of its life which means state ref checks to make sure the vehicle is up to spec every time it smogs. This is a major hassle since their is only a couple in each area. You are not allowed to take to a run of the mill smog shop. Gross polluters are also cars that for people out of the state would think a beat up motor, runs like garbage etc. Basically if your o2 isnt working correctly the car will be thrown into the gross polluter category. I even had a car that just needed a basic tune up/ignition timing change that was a gross polluter.

The state doesnt want older cars on the road just the simple fact. We also have smog checks on the side of roads with highway patrol pulling over cars to be tested. You fail car can be impounded or must go to state ref.

Also ref's will require most of the time a shop to do the work not yourself so now you see why people just say fuck it.

I bought a y49, that was hit in the front, a few years back.   Mainly cause it had rather clean quarters.  I didn't realize how much of a wreck my life was while I owned it.  As I've cut it up and gotten rid of the pieces my life has significantly improved.  I just took the quarters to the scrapyard last week.  The only part I have left is the rear bumper cover.  I've thought about using it on the shiny car, but it's not worth the risk.

Chris you're too valuable a soul, to even consider going down this road.  I know you're a hard  O0 4 real, but no one can handle the curse.  She'll possess you. Then destroy you. She's death on wheels. She's...  y49

It's almost worth going down and dragging it of that fucked up state.

My Y49 has lasted longer than any other vehicle before it, even when you don't include the 7 months it hasn't been able to move under its own power.

I'm not scared, but I am across the country :(
