my aunt was in a horiffic head-on accident with a big truck and escaped with only bruises

Wow that car is toast. Can I have the rims? J/k, it's amazing she's still alive, much less barely scathed.


I know it's instict to not get hit, but when you're forced off the road, into other traffic, etc - you need to get tapped or that person is not at fault 99% of the time. They'd get a disorderly w/vehicle at most. The crx & the teen posted a few months ago is another good example.

glad she's ok.  If you had turbo'd it for her though, she wouldn't have had a problem getting around that semi when he started cutting over.  you asshole.

Yeah she is probably screwed insurance-wise but maybe she'll get lucky and a witness or two will come forward. 
Those wheels would fit my CR-V  :noel:

That's nuts!

I had a very similar thing happen with me.  Dump truck merged into my lane while I was driving my last CRX, except he was maybe at 5-15mph and I was around 60mph.  Tried to slow down and get around it but the car started sliding towards the cement barrier, overcorrected and ended up in the side of the dumptruck.  The truck driver stopped but I didn't get shit out of it because a witness claimed I was trying to pass the truck and lost control, assholes.

What car was it?  i can't really tell.

If she had time to honk and honk as the truck continued to come over why the hell didn't she just get in the emergency lane (that you can see in the video) and just brake?
