a friend of mine did a d16a1 swap and his wiring is kinda shot, the car when starting is only squirting once fuel out of the injectors, the car has spark and with strarting fluid it will start, he says it is probably the resistor box is wierd wrong, how does it have to be wired.. :noel:

well the resistor box is wired as per the diagram, but still no squirting of the injectors, so he is going to get another main relay and see if that is fucking with him, to be honest the car looks like a rats nest in the wiring so i believe its somewhere there

If the fuel pump cycles for two seconds when you turn the ignition key to the ON position, half of the main relay is fine.  If the injectors have battery voltage with the key in the ON position, then the other half of the main relay is fine. Everything else is ground back through the ECU.

Which year D16A1, what car?  That matters a LOT on where I direct you to look next.  Actually, fuck it, pull the pass seat and look at the ECU.  I specifically want to know if it's gotten wet from being in the floorboard.

Fail. You ever seen the "CRX/Del Sol" version? Fucking-A, good luck getting an idea how to do shit since they only cover half of each chassis.

2/3 of the problems on a re-wired swap is teh wiring. Most people couldnt' wire a proper noose to hang themselves.
